A lively annual festival packed with exciting experiences, diverse entertainment, and captivating attractions

The City Government of Pariaman, through the Department of Tourism and Culture (Disparbud), proudly presents Pariaman Barayo 2025. Also known as the Pariaman Beach Festival, this highly anticipated annual event will take place from April 1-7, 2025, featuring a vibrant mix of cultural performances, entertainment, and breathtaking coastal scenery at the city’s top tourist destinations.

As one of Pariaman’s most celebrated events—alongside Tabuik Piaman—Pariaman Barayo transforms the Eid holiday into a festive getaway. The city welcomes tens of thousands of visitors, including returning Minang migrants, who bring even more energy and excitement to the local tourism scene.

During the festival, visitors can explore 11 stunning destinations, including: Sunur Beach, Binasi Beach, Karan Beach, Kata Beach, Ayunan Park, Cermin Beach, Anas Malik Park, Gandoriah Beach, Angso Duo Island, Talao Pauh, Apar Beach & Apar Mangrove Park

Cultural performances and artistic showcases take center stage at Gandoriah Beach and Kata Beach, with additional entertainment hosted at various locations by local tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis).

This year’s lineup includes performances by renowned local artists such as Yona Irma and Darak Badarak, as well as artistic showcases from ISI Padang Panjang, local art studios, and schools in Pariaman. With such a diverse range of activities, Pariaman Barayo 2025 promises unforgettable moments for families, travelers, and returning migrants alike.

To ensure smooth access to the festival, tourism taxes and levies will be adjusted according to prevailing regulations. Visitors will be required to pay an entrance fee of IDR 5,000 per person, while those who wish to explore the beauty of Angso Duo Island will be charged IDR 15,000 per person.
